#1858 Rare 17th Century Chinese Bronze Qilin Paperweight, circa 1644 - 1661, *Price on Request*

A rare Chinese bronze (copper tin alloy) paperweight very finely modelled and cast in the auspicious form of a mythical horned Qilin.

This item was made in China for the scholar's table, in the Transitional Period probably during the reign of the Shunzhi emperor (1644 to 1661).

Condition: excellent - no damages and no repairs or restoration.

10 cm / 4 inches high; 14 cm / 5.5 inches across.
