An attractive pair of porcelain joss stick holders, enamelled 'on biscuit', depicting two 'buddhistic' guardian lions. These items were made, circa 1800, during the reign of the Jiaqing emperor (1796 - 1820) for export and for the domestic market.
Condition: One has a small piece of decoration missing above the right ear and has enamel loss to the right eye brow. No further damages and no restoration.
