A "Vogue" Siamese themed powder compact probably inspired by the popularity of the 1951 Brodway Musical and 1956 Musical Film "The King and I".

This compact is being sold  with its original velvet and satin lined "Vogue Vanities" leather covered case and would have been complete with a lipstick nolder..

Condition:  there are some 'rust' marks to the velvet lining of the box and to the cover of the compct and there is considerable wear to the base of the compact. The inside of the compact (including the mirror) is in excellent condition
