#0005 Unusual Japanese Export Teapot and Cover - Meiji Period (1868-1911) SOLD to Italy - January 2009

An unusual, press molded, biscuit glazed Japanese teapot made for export during the Meiji period (1868-1911). There has been some restoration to the cover and the handle of the cover has been re-glued (please see pictures). No further damages. 5 inches (13cm) High 6.3 inches (16cm) Long.
