A rare art deco shallow bowl by the designer Wilhelm Kage (1889-1960) who trained under Henri Matisse. This item was probably produced during the 1940s as part of the "Argenta" range by Gustavsberg, Sweden.
Condition -there is surface wear to the silver overlay and there is a chip next to one of the handles and associated light hairline (please see enlargements 6 and 7).
