#0809 German Karlsruhe Sunflower Tile or Plaque - circa 1960s, **SOLD** May 2019

A large Karlsruhe Majolika Company (Germany) stoneware tile with deep crystaline glaze depicting Van Gogh style sunflowers and mounted as a plaque. This item was probably designed by Werner Meschede (1925 - 1981)

 

Condition - excellent.

 

13 inches(33cm) high,9.2 inches(23.5cm) wide and 0.75 inches(2cm) deep.
