A very rare original pair of clear plastic cased Yellow coloured ankle boots with zip fastener and clear moulded plastic heels, each with an impressed Mary Quant 'Daisy' motif capable of creating a trail of daisy footprints in wet sand.
This design was introduced in 1967 and is typical of the innovative use of new materials in the cutting edge British fashions of the 1960s.
For a similar pair in this style please view the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) and also a pair in this colour in the collection of the Museum of London.
