#0171 Dorothy Colles Pastel Portrait circa 1963 - signed

A signed, pastel portrait by Dorothy Colles (1917-2003) who was (according to an obituary published in the Independent newspaper) "gifted in portraits of children". This picture was drawn circa 1963 (please see our other Colles picture) and was a commissioned piece for an advertising poster. Dorothy Colles has exhibited through the Royal Academy and the Royal Society of Portrait Painting.

Condition - excellent.

The picture 20 inches by 17.7 inches (51cm x 45cm). The original frame - 23.8 inches by 21.7 inches (60cm x 55cm).
