#1668 Large Marble Burmese Reclining Buddha, 19th Century

A large and heavy, partially gilded, Mandalay style marble Buddha finely carved in 19th Century Burma (Myanmar).

Condition: excellent and, unusually, still retaining much of its original gilding.
