#1733 Liverpool Herculaneum Pottery Warming Plate, "Liverpool from the Seacombe Slip", Circa 1830 **Sold** September 2018

A rare blue and white transfer printed food warming plate decorated with a contemporary waterfront scene "Liverpool from the Seacombe Slip" taken from an 1829 engraving published in the book  "Lancashire Illustrated". This dish or plate was made locally on the Liverpool south shore by the Herculaneum Pottery, Toxteth.

Condition: there are rim chips and losses - please view our pictures.
